Liu Yu Jun
Chinese, b. 1963
Born in Shandong in 1963, Liu Yu Jun started his artistic career as early as 1996, when he participated in the 8th National Fine Arts Exhibition in Beiiing. Liu Yu Jun has also been active in international exhibitions and art shows especially in Europe, in countries such as Germany, Italy, Belgium, and France. Liu Yu Jun started his unidentified Liquid series in 2OO5. This series of pointings epicfs women of modern China, the group of women who lives in cities, who are very capable and well-spoken. He is fond of using black, white and grey to paint their portraits, emphasising their features and blue unidentified liquid. His skillful painting techniques have enabled the lights and shades to be blended in so well, and that the whole picture portraying more dynamics and depth to it. The painted liquid symbolises fear and insecurity modern women may possess, and the blue liquid is also a highlight to each painting. Through his paintings, Liu wishes to arouse people's respect and
love towards women.

Liu Yu Jun started his art career as early as 1996, and his works were introduced to the U.S. market as early as 1998. Liu Yu Jun participated in international art fairs such as MiArt 2006 & 2007, Art Singapore 2007, Line Art Belgium 2008, etc. Has had his work auctioned in Belgium, by Memorial of Von Dame in supporting poor children in Africa, almost every 2008 Olympic game winner got a trophy made from his work. Has had solo and group exhibitions
worldwide in China, Hong Kong, Korea, U.S., Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, and Germany.
